Low stock: 1 left
Now in its 29th edition, The Economist Pocket World in Figures is the indispensable primer on world affairs. Drawing from hundreds of sources, it ranges over geography, politics, economics, health and culture to give a fascinating snapshot of the state of the world now. The 2020 edition of this annual bestseller has been completely revised and updated, with new features including the busiest roads, the most endangered species, the countries with the largest foreign-born populations and countries with most journalists in prison, among many others. It provides rankings on more than 200 topics, covering 185 countries, together with detailed statistical profiles of 64 of the world's major economies, plus the euro area and the world itself, and challenges readers to test their knowledge with a quiz. Whether you want to find the country with the cheapest Big Macs, the most refugees, the highest incidence of diabetes or the most millionaires, The Economist Pocket World in Figures has it all covered.

Condition Descriptions
Our conditions mean the following:
- New - a brand new book
- Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
- Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
- Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
- Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.
