Lindsey Davis nació en Birmingham en 1950 y estudió Literatura Inglesa en la Universidad de Oxford. Después de escribir con seudónimo algunas novelas románticas, saltó a la fama como autora de originales novelas históricas en las que la fiel reproducción de la vida cotidiana en la Roma imperial se combinaba con un agudo sentido del humor y unas perfectas tramas detectivescas. Su más célebre creación, el investigador privado Marco Didio Falco, la ha convertido en la más popular, leída y admirada cultivadora de novela histórica, al tiempo que le ha granjeado el respeto de los lectores de novela negra. - Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.
