Our conditions mean the following:

About the Author

Alberto Vazquez-Figueroa (1936). Nacio en Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Antes de cumplir un ano, su familia fue deportada por motivos politicos a africa, donde permanecio entre Marruecos y el Sahara hasta cumplir los dieciseis. A los veinte anos se convirtio en profesor de submarinismo a bordo del buque-escuela Cruz del Sur. Curso estudios de periodismo, y en 1962 comenzo a trabajar como enviado especial de Destino, La Vanguardia y posteriormente de Television Espanola. Durante quince anos visito casi un centenar de paises y fue testigo de numerosos acontecimientos clave de nuestro tiempo, entre ellos las guerras y revoluciones de Guinea, Chad, Congo, Republica Dominicana, Bolivia, Guatemala# Las secuelas de un grave accidente de inmersion le obligaron a abandonar sus actividades como enviado especial. Tras dedicarse una temporada a la direccion cinematografica, se centro por entero en la creacion literaria. Ha publicado mas de cuarenta libros, entre los que cabe mencionar: Tuareg, ebano, Manaos, Oceano, Yaiza, Maradentro, Viracocha, La iguana, Nuevos dioses, Bora Bora, la serie Cienfuegos, la obra de teatro La taberna de los Cuatro Vientos, La ordalia del veneno, El agua prometida y Ali en el pais de las maravillas.
