What do the conditions mean?
Our conditions mean the following:
- New - a brand new book
- Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
- Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
- Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
- Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

Iepurele de catifea vrea din tot sufletul să fie iubit. Este grăsun şi rotunjor, cum se cade să fie un iepure, are blana pătată cu alb şi cafeniu, mustăţi de-adevăratelea din aţă şi urechi căptuşite cu satin rozaliu. O vreme zace în camera copiilor, alături de alte jucării uitate, şi speră din toată inima lui de rumeguş ca într-o zi să aibă parte de dragostea copilului căruia i-a fost dăruit. Pentru că dragostea, află el, te poate face adevărat. Adevărat nu-nseamnă felul cum eşti făcut… E un lucru care ţi se-ntâmplă. Când un copil ţine la tine vreme-ndelungată, nu doar ca să se joace cu tine, ci fiindcă te iubeşte CU ADEVĂRAT, atunci devii şi tu Adevărat… Nu se-ntâmplă dintr-odată… Devii treptat. Şi durează mult… În general, când ajungi Adevărat… eşti ponosit. Dar lucrurile astea n-au nicio importanţă, fiindcă odată ce eşti Adevărat, nu mai poţi să fii urât decât pentru cei care nu-nţeleg.
