Philip's Road Atlas Britain 2007 Compact

Format: Paperback

Condition: Standard Secondhand — £1.00
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

A new compact road atlas featuring fully updated cartography from Philip's digital database which has been voted Britain's clearest and most detailed mapping in an independent consumer survey. The 287 pages of main road maps are at the large scale of 3 miles to 1 inch (Hebrides and Orkneys at 6 miles to 1 inch), and include speed camera locations. The maps clearly mark service areas, roundabouts and multi-level junctions, and in rural areas distinguishes between roads above and below 4 metres wide - a boon for drivers of wide vehicles. For leisure users, scenic routes are highlighted, and the maps show upland and highland areas as well as National and Forest Parks, and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Long distance footpaths, viewpoints, beaches, golf courses, campsites and caravan sites are clearly shown. The atlas also includes route-planning maps and 21 extra-detailed town and city centre plans with indexes.COMPARABLE TITLEAA Driver's Atlas Britain 0749545518Main map scale: 3 miles to 1 inch
