Around the World in Eighty Plates

Format: Hardback

Condition: Standard Secondhand — £1.50
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

Introducing the delicious diversity of global vegetarian cuisine, Around the World in Eighty Plates brings together the treasured recipes of eighty celebrated chefs and hotels worldwide. From Chicago to London, from New York to Sydney, contributing chefs include Charlie Trotter, Anton Mossiman, Marcus Samuelsson and Tetsuya Wakuda, among others. Compiled by renowned food critic Rashmi Uday Singh, this unique cookbook takes readers on an exhilarating journey via the spices of the Asian kitchen, the earthy culinary traditions of Africa and the Middle East, the festive vibrancy of the Americas, and the sumptuously delicate flavors of Europe. The result is an extraordinary range of regional and fusion cuisines. From veggie classics to more experimental dishes that will entice the most resolute of carnivores, the book provides a combination of adroitly assembled menus and individual recipes. Beautifully illustrated, it delivers both armchair excitement and superb kitchen instructions, offering readers the best of the world on a plate.
