Condition: Standard Secondhand — £1.65
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

A charming romance novella set in the beautiful east coast of Scotland town of North Berwick.
A mistake at work changes newly single Isla's life in a click of her fingers, and she heads home to heal her wounds. Without the pressures of big city life, she now has time to start writing her novel. Things fall further into place when her parents offer her the chance to run their B&B, Sea Colme Cottage for a month. However, small town life brings its own challenges, in the form of the 'easy on the eye' as her Nana would say, Campbell McLean. Her Nana is convinced Campbell is The One, but Isla remains unconvinced, could the moody but equally handsome Johnny be The One? Or is The One her loveable dog, Charlie?
Follow Isla's month as she tries to keep a hold on the reigns of Sea Colme Cottage, her love life and her meddling Nana!
