Format: Paperback

Condition: Poor Condition — £2.02
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

The fourth edition of the popular and well-respected GCSE Law by Jacqueline Martin has been completetly revised and updated to take into account the new AQA GCSE specification as well as all the changes to the law. The layout is now in full colour with an even greater use of diagrams, illustrations, photographs and Key Facts charts. This textbook is an essential resource for anyone taking the AQA GCSE Law course that will provide students with the best possible preparation for success. It is also suitable as an introduction to the law for a range of Access, BTEC, HND and ILEX courses, as well as many more vocational Business and Public Services qualifications. The author assumes no prior knowledge of the law, and introduces and explains clearly a wide range of topics, including the english legal system, criminal law, the law of tort, family law, and the rights and responsibilities of citizens. Each chapter contains a range of activities, diagrams and illustrations that will help to bring understanding and enjoyment to the study of law.
