IGCSE Religious Studies Paper 1Model Answers: For the Pearson Edexcel Exam (revisionsuccess)

Condition: Very Good — £13.72
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

IGCSE Religious Studies Paper 1: Model Answers
For Pearson Edexcel Exam

These model answers follow a successful writing model that has been tested in exam conditions. It accompanies the textbook, which has sold over 1 1/2 thousand copies.

• The book is an excellent way of mastering exam technique for the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Religious Studies Paper 1 exam.
• It includes colour-coded model answers to exam questions inspired by all the Pearson Edexcel past papers from the original specimen papers to 2023.
• Answers include how to bullet-point answers to the 3-mark questions, how to 'outline' answers for the 4-mark questions, how to 'explain' a position for the 6-mark questions and how to 'evaluate' a claim for the 12-mark questions.
• In particular, the book includes a successful strategy for answering 12-mark evaluative questions, making clear how students need to firstly present arguments before making clear why they agree or disagree with those arguments. This allows students to demonstrate to the examiner that they are not simply explaining arguments, but actively arguing for their own position.
