Format: Hardback

Condition: Standard Secondhand — £13.22
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

In this effervescent and hilarious debut, Andy Schell delivers a fresh, laugh-out-loud romantic tale of a betrothed couple's mutual search for happiness, wealth...and Mr. Right!

One of the esteemed Kansas Fords, Harry Ford has glibly traded a BMW and Ivy League education for a beat-up Volkswagen, a flight attendant's wings...and the freedom to live life on his terms. Now he's determined to land a red-blooded man who can make him forget about the millions he'd inherit if he brought home a bride before his next birthday. But when Harry meets Amity Stone -- a sassy, irreverent, ravishing blonde woman who's also his new roommate -- he decides instead to marry the willing, wonderful woman and collect his fortune.

All set to march down the aisle, Harry thinks his worries are over...but he's wrong. Temptation arrives in the muscular form of tall, dark, and handsome Nicolo Feragamo, and lust quickly turns to love. Now, as the Big Day -- and Big Bucks -- loom before him, Harry finds himself facing a provocative dilemma that proves the road to happily-ever-after is anything but straight and narrow.
