New Revised Standard Version Bible(Anglicized) with Apocrypha
Format: Hardback
What do the conditions mean?
Our conditions mean the following:
- New - a brand new book
- Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
- Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
- Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
- Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

The Large Print version of the NRSV Anglicized Edition is the Bible that has been most frequently requested in recent years, as the NRSV has achieved widespread popularity. Oxford is now responding to this demand with a specially designed Bible that will meet all the needs of those readers who prefer a larger typeface. Every page of this Bible has been examined with care to ensure that it is as easy to use as possible. A double column format has been retained, which always assists in reading large amounts of text, and the font used reduces the number of line turns to a minimum, another important factor is reducing eye strain. The footnotes, which are such a key feature of the NRSV, have been retained in full, and in this edition are set at the foot of the right hand page only. This Bible is not only easy to read, but it is good to look at and to handle too. The binding uses a dark green leather-look material with traditional gilt blocking on the front cover and spine. The Bible is sewn for added strength to make sure it can be used on a regular basis for many years to come. The inclusion of the Apocrypha makes this Bible suitable for readers from the Catholic Church, as well as the many others who prefer to have this material included. Members of churches that use the Common Worship Lectionary or the Revised Common Lectionary will find this edition particularly appropriate to their needs. A further use for this Bible that will appeal to some churches is as a small Lectern Edition or Desk Bible for use in public worship.
