For Katherine working with cats had been a closely held ambition ever since she'd taken ownership of her first cat at the tender age of four. So when, as an adult, she had decided to start her own cat sitting business she'd envisaged a life of pure cat-heaven. What she hadn't reckoned on was that using a dead squirrel to entice a flea-ridden cat indoors; being dive-bombed by a demonic budgie; having to wear a disposable latex suit in the dreaded 'pants flat'; and stumbling across one client's shocking boudoir secrets would be part and parcel of her daily duties. Despite all this and the odd brush with the police; the scaling of electric fences; emergency vet and hospital visits she's able to develop some very special friendships with the quirky cat characters she meets, as well as with their sometimes eccentric owners and oddball neighbours!
