The Reality ManifestoAn A-Z anti-exploitation manual for social media, mental health, & body image

Condition: Standard Secondhand — £1.57
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

Behind the picture-perfect life of many models and influencers lies an ugly reality of serious mental health problems, body image issues, and exploitation. Today, this affects us all.

We continue to use social media, despite knowing it makes us feel negatively. Our natural human vulnerabilities, such as comparing ourselves, are being deliberately targeted and amplified.

Best-selling author, ADHD coach and top model Leanne Maskell shares how to make social media work for you, rather than the other way around, in this A to Z anti-exploitation manual.

Empower yourself to take back control of your attention, time, relationships, and self-worth.

‘The onslaught of the social media/digital world is claiming my children's attention, and so their lives.
Leanne's book helps every parent know more about how, why and most importantly, what this is doing to them.
And how we can, together, do something about it.' - Clare Harding

'If Leanne's previous book is anything to go by, this new one will be a corker.' - Rankin
