Timeless Designs

Format: Hardback

Condition: Poor Condition — £11.25
What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

Expressive and evocative, the collection of homes presented here shuns period style in favor of an eclectic look that straddles and transcends trends.

In the new millennium the trend in home interiors is toward a sophisticated simplicity combined with a concern for comfort. Expressive and evocative, the rooms marked by this approach to design are refined, elegant embodiments of the tenets of timelessness.

The homes presented in Timeless Design shun period style in favor of an eclectic look that straddles and transcends trends. Here, the finest international interior designers pull together disparate objects, architectural surrounds, and interior styles to offset each other and to enhance all rooms of the home. The idea-filled color photos shown are collected into two broad sections, one that focuses on homes with a distinctive architectural slant and the other on interiors that are driven by their classicism, simplicity and comfort. The design of each room speaks to their creators' personal concept of timelessness.
