What do the conditions mean?

Our conditions mean the following:

  • New - a brand new book
  • Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
  • Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
  • Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
  • Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.

Welcome to Visionary Male Leaders. 15 global male leaders share their current best thinking on embodying and utilising / identifying, integrating and implementing your inherent feminine and masculine leadership traits.EDITORS: Sarah Bellorini (Editor) Andrew Priestley (Editor)CO-AUTHORS: Obi Abuchi, Dimi Cholakov, Andrew Priestley, Simon Hodges, Robert Kirby, Tassos J Stavropoulos, Phil Bartlett, Bodhi Aldridge, Rick Charlton, Leon Aarts, Jacob Aldridge, Curtis Harren, Jaime Galviz, Dan Isaak, Alan Wick.Feminine leadership traits are not gender-specific. Nor are the traits that suppress them – traits which come from the toxic masculine mindsets that have been modelled and adopted by both men and women to try and get ahead, or cope, by fitting the mould of an out-dated culture. This is not a book about feminism, nor gender equality however, if these hyper-masculine styles of leadership continue to be adopted it won’t matter how many women are promoted onto Boards and into C-Suite positions – it will simply be perpetuating this destructive culture.Authentic, whole-hearted leadership is genuinely a key topic of discussion amongst male business leaders, world wide who are running established organisations. This collection of inspirational and implementable articles is for leaders who want to evolve their own leadership skills and the capabilities of their entire team.Become a better leader… and influence the next generation of leaders at a time when top talent, globally, are leaving good companies... because of bad bosses. This book acknowledges that legislation has shifted significantly in recent years as it relates to diversity, equality, discrimination, gender. Some are pragmatic: let's stay on the right side of those changes. Some are exploring: let’s do whatever we can to genuinely be a preferred employer of choice so we attract and retain top talent. All are expressing a desire to foster best practice by exploring the deeper issues of what good now looks like for male leaders, for them personally, and for their companies. In preparing this title, we had long debates about what visionary means. And why visionary male? What is wonderful is just how quickly key leaders – globally – running significant companies, leading significant teams, some in a variety of jurisdictions, signalled their interest in sharing their current best thinking insights, practices and experiences. This book is truly global with the 15 authors – leaders – sharing their collective leadership experience from countries and cultures around the world. And the result is an impressive range of ideas, opinions, and implementable solutions. We are sure of one thing. This book will inspire and challenge you equally.authentic leadership; conscious leadership; inspirational leadership; transformational leadership; inclusive leadership; millennial leadership; leadership development; employee engagement; employee relations; future of work; purpose driven; emotional intelligence; vulnerability; empathy; change management
