Where Future GrowsThe Evolution of Work Environments
Format: Hardback
What do the conditions mean?
Our conditions mean the following:
New - a brand new book
Almost New - appears new but is actually secondhand.
Very Good - only minor imperfections such as minor scuffs to edge or cover or a price written in pencil or shop sticker.
Standard Secondhand - Clearly been read before, but not too bad. We do not recommend these for gifting. Spines usually creased. Could also include creases or folds to cover, some writing such as in the cover or elsewhere, underlining or highlighting, but might not do. Possibly some stains or marks. Similar in general to books in any secondhand shop or charity shop.
Poor Condition - Usually this will have a specific problem such as writing inside, water damage, missing dust jacket, heavy staining, large creases or cuts. These are readable copies but not nice ones. On other websites this condition is called 'Acceptable' or 'Fair' , but we want to be more honest.
Responses to the changing world of work_Emphasizes the importance of purpose, creativity, and personal growth_Visions for businesses and decision-makers_Integration of nature and work for making workplaces more livable and sustainable. While more and more tasks are being taken over by machines and artificial intelligence, humans remain the central element of the working world. For knowledge workers in particular, the choice of workplace will increasingly depend on where they can best utilize their skills, find meaning in their work, and experience a positive working environment. Where Future Grows explores the transformation of work and examines how future workplaces should be designed. An environment that considers both functional and aesthetic aspects will become increasingly important. The authors present a vision of a working world where the boundary between life and work dissolves, allowing human potential to be fully realized. Through a detailed analysis of future work environments and a series of interviews, best-practice examples illustrate how workplaces should be designed to foster both professional and personal growth. - site de l'éditeur
